This is another classic off the beaten track discovery—dry, crisp, stony, all Vermentino from Calvi on the island of Corsica, it offers novelty, personality, even attitude. It makes a great apéro but shines equally with briny shellfish (what could be better than fresh grilled sardines sprinkled with sea salt?).
