Les Sentiers lies below Bonnes Mares, Grand Cru, on the border with Morey St. Denis. It is often a rather Morey-like bruiser. But in the hands of young Stephan Magnien, it is a lovely, elegant, Chambolle. It hsa lovely fruit, and is rich and deep in charcter, with more structure at the finish. Terrific wine. From the domaine: "Situated on the route des Grands Crus, 'Les Sentiers' offers complexity, length, and the femininity of Chambolle-Musigny. It will pair admirably with all manner of game, roasts, poultry (duck, guinea hen, pheasant).
