Wine Advocate 90 points - The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is dominated by earthy, loamy minerality, red and blackcurrants, and hints of baking spices and cedarwood. Tightly-knit, medium to full-bodied, and built for the long-term, it will benefit from 4-5 years of cellaring and should last for 15 or more years.

Vinous 89 points - Antica’s 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent choice for drinking over the next decade or so. Silky, sweet tannins wrap around a core of soft plum, cherry, cinnamon and new leather nuances. Expressive floral, spiced notes add lift on the finish.
"The finest wine I have yet tasted from Piero Antinoriís rocky hillside vineyard on Soda Canyon Road in southeast Napa, this 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a dense purple color along with a rich, sumptuous bouquet of licorice, creme de cassis, and smoky oak. This opulent, fleshy, full-bodied wine exhibits beautiful purity and concentrated fruit. It should age nicely for 15-20 years. Impressive ... and reasonably priced!" Robert Parker
