Vinous 89 points - The 2014 Chardonnay Santa Barbara County is a tasty entry-level offering. Lemon oil, almonds and white stone fruits abound in a focused, tightly wound wine built on energy and nuance. Best of all, the 2014 is a superb value. The 2014 was aged entirely in oak barrels of which 22% were new French and Hungarian barrels.
"Pure, complex and well-made, with spicy, toasty oak, this full-bodied white shows ripe pear, apple and melon flavors. Lingers with a touch of youthful rawness. Drink now through 2017. 18,500 cases made. –JL"87 Points
