Kratos is a Greek word that means "power” and this wine expresses its own in a very tasteful and sophisticated way. It has a straw yellow color with golden highlights and a soft, fruity bouquet with scents of apricot. On the palate it is dry, full bodied and well structured, offering an elegant, silky, clean finish. A perfect match for antipasti as well as fried seafood platters and grilled white meat dishes.
Producer
Luigi Maffini, born in Salerno in 1966. He graduated in Agricultural Sciences and specialized in Viticulture and Oenology Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II. Raffaella Gallo, born in Caserta in 1967. She graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II. We are the parents of Lia and Pietro, three dogs, more than 50.000 vine plants. Hares, foxes, hedgehogs, hawks and wild boars live in peace with us! In the early 70’s the implantation of the first family vineyard… after a while the first harvest. It was like a game and the wine was shared just with friends. With Kratos ’96 began the challenge: to continue on the undertaken path by working with passion, to accomplish a reality that was the expression of an unspoilt territory. Nowadays our wines are the result of two vineyards, grown in compliance with the principles of the organic agriculture: the historical vineyard of Castellabate near the sea, and the new one of Giungano, on the hill, where our project is continuing by planting more vine plants and building a new winery.
