Vinous 90 points - An attractive, mid-weight red, the 2010 Carmignano Villa di Capezzana is built on energy and persistence. Floral and savory notes, smoke and leather wrap around an expressive core in this pretty Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon blend. The layered finish is inviting, but the tannins could use another year or two to soften.
