|Gush Etzion is located in the Judean region, situated south of Jerusalem, at one of the highest altitudes in Israel. This area has been recognized for thousands of years for wine growing and merited a special blessing in the bible that Jacob granted to his son, Judah. The climate, differences in day and night temperatures, chalky soil, the sloping vineyards, and altitude of over 900 meters above sea level, create ideal conditions for wine growing.
