Color - Beautiful straw color with green edges Bouquet - Fine mineral fragrance with ginger, caraway seed, underripe pineapple and flowers Taste - Flavors of white peach, quince and lemon on the palate with a lingering, clean and dry
James Suckling 91 points - A tangy and flavorful white with sliced lemon and minerally character plus attractive phenolic texture. Full body. Real Alsace riesling. Available in 2016.  (Sep 2015)

Wine Enthusiast 91 points - While this has a tight corset of freshness and structure, expressive notes of peach show their exuberance. The palate again reveals tautness, shot through with lemon purity while the peach delightfully plays around them.  (Dec 2015)

Wine maker notes
The specific vineyard plots for Trimbach Riesling are selected each year by Pierre and Jean Trimbach. The grapes are normally harvested in late October and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats. There is no secondary malolactic fermentation in order to maintain as much natural acidity as possible.

Technical notes
100% Riesling

Food pairing
Served best with marinated, grilled, or sauced fish, and sushi. Delicious with traditional Alsace dishes like onion tarte, sauerkraut, and pork.
