This wonderful pinot grigio is a wine from the single vineyard “Soll”; a southeastern facing slope above the town of Tramin at 450 to 500 meters above sea level. After a slow controlled fermentation, 20% of the wine is aged in barrique, with a total of 6 months on the lees. This beautiful light straw-yellow wine is ripe with pear and hazelnut, honeydew melon and a hint vanilla. The wine is round and smooth on the palate with light undertones of wood on the finish.
